These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Covewise, operated by Corvin Works LLC (“we”, “us”). By using covewise.app you agree to these Terms.

Use of Service

Covewise is a personal financial companion tool. You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Not Financial Advice

Covewise provides financial information and insights for personal use only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.

Connected Accounts

You may connect third-party financial accounts through our secure bank connection service. By doing so, you authorize us to retrieve your account and transaction data on your behalf. You can disconnect accounts at any time from your account settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or extract source code from the service

AI-Generated Content

Covewise uses artificial intelligence to analyze your financial data and generate insights, projections, and suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
• Projections and estimates are not guarantees of future results
• No AI output should be relied upon as professional financial, tax, or legal advice
• We make no warranty that AI-generated analysis is complete, accurate, or suitable for your situation

THE SERVICE AND ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you provide or connect through Covewise. Decisions you make based on information provided by Covewise are solely your responsibility. We are not liable for financial outcomes resulting from actions you take based on Covewise's analysis, recommendations, or projections.

Data Access

When you connect financial accounts, Covewise accesses transaction history, account balances, and related metadata through our financial data partners. We do not store your bank login credentials. Connected account access can be revoked at any time from Settings. Email receipt parsing (when enabled) reads only email subjects, senders, amounts, and merchant names — we do not access full email body content or attachments.

Subscription and Billing

Covewise offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Current plans are $9.99/month (Personal) and $14.99/month (Family). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will send you a reminder before your trial ends.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CORVIN WORKS LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIS SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100. IN NO EVENT SHALL CORVIN WORKS LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA LOSS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Covewise will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. To initiate arbitration, send written notice to hello@covewise.app. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property matters.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We'll notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days in advance.
